Artist's Comments

this is my first attempt to draw human faces and to capture some feelings.
I used a photo of Paul Hunter, the snooker player, as a model for this quick sketch (it took me about 30 minutes to complete it), but I don't thing it resembles him a lot...
Any way, I would like to read your comments about it

A little bit, it does resemble him.
Hey, I'm glad you tried and thanks for wanting my opinion
Good work! I see you have the potential, his face is quite simetric, you don't have problems with that, but you can practice a bit the hair (which btw I also struggle with) and make eyes more... smooth? Just try some things to make the eyes more expressive.
But I'm proud, drawing people isn't easy, specially boys u.u
I think you are right about the eyes... I find them a bit...girly (if you understand, I don't even know if this word exists!!)
and as long as the hair are concerned, I really have no idea how to draw them!!

Haha, 'girly' does exist, it's like too femenine, if you ment that...
And as for the hair... you need to watch reference pics until you get it. I'm still inventing it, real hair is something you do not mess with.
:XD:
"it's like too femenine" : that's exactly what I meant!
